Laura Phillips
Veteran Relationship Manager
Laura Phillips is an experienced operations leader, veteran relationship manager, and dedicated advocate for those who have served. She serves as Veteran Relationship Manager for Patriot Disability Advocates, where she focuses on building lasting relationships and providing steady, personal support to veterans and their families throughout the claims process.
A South Florida native, Laura has proudly called Arkansas home for the past 16 years. She was raised with a strong sense of family, hard work, and community—values instilled by her father, an Air Force veteran, and her mother and stepfather, whose careers exemplified entrepreneurship and service. Those same values define how she approaches her work and her family life today.
Laura’s professional background spans more than 15 years in operations, human resources, and accounting, with a consistent focus on helping individuals navigate challenges and reach their goals. She spent a significant portion of her career in the defense industry, working for Aerojet Rocketdyne and its successor, L3Harris Technologies—one of the nation’s largest defense contractors. Operating at the Camden, Arkansas, large solid rocket motor facility, these programs supply rocket motors, missile propulsion systems, and critical munitions components to the U.S. military, directly supporting America’s warfighters and the broader defense industrial base. Her time in that environment gave her firsthand insight into the scale and seriousness of the mission that today’s service members carry, and a lasting respect for the men and women in uniform who depend on that work.
Beyond her defense industry experience, Laura has built a proven track record of results across operations and finance, including recovering over $4 million in Medicare claims during her tenure at Arkansas Hospice. Her commitment to excellence earned her induction into the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society during her undergraduate studies, and she is currently continuing her professional investment by working toward a Master of Business Administration.
Laura lives in Camden, Arkansas, with her husband, Troy, and is the proud mother of Logan, Sophia, and Briauna. Outside the office, she is a devoted college football fan—divided only by her loyalty to the Razorbacks and the Gators—and an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys boating, hunting, and fishing while making memories with her family.
Today, Laura brings her operational expertise, people-first mindset, and deep respect for the military mission to help veterans navigate the VA disability system with confidence. Her mission is simple: every veteran deserves a relationship manager who listens, follows through, and treats their claim with the seriousness it has earned.
