Matt Lentz

Matt Lentz is a veteran and medical professional that is committed to serving the men and women that have sacrificed at home and abroad for this great nation. Matt was
born in north Alabama to a family with veterans from every branch of service and raised with a deep love of the service and sacrifice for this country they shared throughout his
childhood.
Matt originally served as an educational specialist after completing his undergraduate degree and taught middle school and high school for several years. Eventually he could no longer deny the call to serve his country and made the decision to enlist into active-duty service with the United States Army at 26 years old.
Matt served as a Special Operations Civil Affairs Medic in support of the Global War on Terror in the Balkan region of Europe. He participated in Counter Violent Extremist missions in alignment with US State Department and Department of Justice Operations. Today he serves as a medical support officer with 20 th Special Forces in the Alabama National Guard.
Matt continues to practice medicine part-time as a cardiothoracic Physician Assistant in North Alabama where he lives with his wife of 20 years, Amber and their two children, Adam and Clara.
Matt’s primary focus is helping veterans achieve peace of mind and security with the benefits they have earned. Helping his fellow veterans navigate the complexity of the VA system is a unique opportunity that gives Matt daily motivation to continue serving those that have served.
