Dr. Paul Corso is a combat veteran, physician, and lifelong advocate for America’s heroes. He co-founded Patriot Disability Advocates and serves as its Chief Executive Officer, leading a team dedicated to helping veterans secure the VA disability benefits they’ve earned through service and sacrifice.
Paul’s path to leadership in veteran advocacy was forged through twelve years in the U.S. Army Special Forces as a Green Beret and 18D Special Forces Medical Sergeant. The experience gave him a firsthand understanding of the challenges veterans face when transitioning from the battlefield to civilian life—and a lasting commitment to serving those who served. He continues to wear the uniform today as the Battalion Surgeon for the 2nd Battalion, 198th Armored Regiment, Mississippi Army National Guard.
Before pursuing medicine, Paul built a successful career in finance and operations, earning his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2011. Over the years, he has started and run numerous businesses, developing the entrepreneurial instincts and operational discipline that now shape PDA’s growth and client-service standards.
Paul then pursued medicine with the same drive that defined his military career, completing his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. His unique combination of combat experience, business acumen, and medical expertise gives him a strategic perspective on leadership and veteran advocacy that few in the industry can match.
Paul lives in New Orleans with his wife, Meg. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is an avid aviator, sailor, and spearfisherman—always seeking new challenges with the same drive that defines his military, medical, and business careers.
Today, Dr. Corso brings his unique blend of combat experience, medical training, and business leadership to help veterans navigate the complex VA disability system. His mission is simple: every veteran deserves a team that fights for their claim with the same commitment they showed in uniform.
